I first came across the property on Instagram and was initially really intrigued by the name. After scrolling through their photos, I instantly fell in love and couldn't book a weekend away soon enough.I returned to stay at Acre of Roses a second time because it was so special. It is the perfect country escape away from the stresses of city life. Sandy McKinley and Rob Roy, the owners of the property, have made sure that the second you enter the house, it already feels like a home. There are treats from the local bakery, naturally grown produce from the garden, croissants ready to be put in the oven and sweet notes dotted throughout every room.There are currently two bedrooms (and a third coming soon), with Cultiver linen, woollen Bemboka blankets, feather down Duvets and a pillow menu. My favourite parts of the cottage are the rainwater filled cedar hot tub and theatre room, perfect for entertaining or just chilling out.
